The colors of our Alien Species is coppery, metallic red, and orange. We picked these colors because they were related to our research, which told us that our planet was blueish and greenish (turquoise). We picked contrasting colors (red and orange) from blue and green to grab attention to our alien. We learned a lot about planets when it comes to the atmospheres and the gases on the planetary spectrum. Actually before this project, we didn’t know what a Planetary Spectrum was. Now we do. We also learned about habitable zones in solar systems. My experience doing this project was mostly good, but it was a little rushed in my opinion. We enjoyed working 75% of the time. However 25% of the time we were frustrated and were rushed. Altogether, we liked this project as a whole, we had fun creating model heads and planets as well as painting and sculpting. The scale factor between my model planet and my real planet is 2111.3. That means that my planet is 2,111.3 times bigger than the model.
